Well we had finally had our little baby , it's the cutest little boy in October the 14Th , looks like his big brother , smile all the time , but don't sleep much! We love him to bits. But now we have decided to make a move as the house is too small really so we are on the market waiting to sale........... and then we will be house hunting . Really looking forward to it.

Just a quick one to explain my disappearance since new year. We are expecting another baby so my time as been dedicated to Lunar Jim and his school work , house updating, baby stuff to reorganise etc............ Didn't have to craft much , also i realise i need to do my Xmas cards, baby cards....etc. I have been living on my already make cards but i running low! We are house hunting at the moment , try to find a bigger house..............but not much luck so far! Property market is not on our side and the chances for me to go back to work are very slim. So will see, lover quick saying it's a waiting game , anyhow i have to transform my craft room into a nursery , means what do i do with my craft precious stacks, lover boy is not worry about it but i am as crafting is pretty much part of my life as much as my son at the moment. Anyway must dash , holidays duties calling , so might to see you all before Xmas coming with a pic of junior!

Wondering why no post for such a long time: Since lover left , i have been very busy looking after little man and also finishing with all the ongoing work of the house. So now i am back ! well at least for now, so hopefully i will post a bit more!
It has been hard being on my own with little one to care but i am managing so far. His homework seems to take all our evening and by 8 o'clock i am exhausted!
I have meet a few people specially one ,where i have to say she is fun to be with! This is good , make the time go by faster!
This week is holiday for little one , so we will be going to the cinema, beach, park , shopping for a Xmas trees and preparing for Halloween!

As you can see our little garden is taking shape. Your orange tree is flourishing , oh my , the smell of the orange flowers take me back to Cordoba , so powerful.

Lover left us 2 weeks ago , and i am missing him every minute of it. Can't tell you where he went , but he is safe so i feel my worries are in peace for the moment. Lunar Jim is missing him dearly. Tears everyday , every hour , but he is feeling much better , he has finally realise Xmas will come soon.

The past 2 weeks was very hard , i have been drowned to a website call bfpo.mod.uk, there is a chat room , so you can download your thought , it's a very nice site ,you can send bluey for free. Today lover will have 15! The total max! He has got picture with every single one! So he can do tapestry with it! But most of all i have had a lot of support from my friends and neighbours. I am so lucky.

Lunar Jim is going back to school in 2 days , so i have still lot's to do.

Oh well only 4 months to go now before we see lover.

But i have got a good excuse: my lover is due to go for a little while , well a little longer , more like i won't see him till xmas (tears)......... So We are making the most of him , i am sure by the end of this week he will be happy to ;leave us and rest ! Lunar James is certainly growing fast and he is becoming a little man , super hero in every way , he drawn some special map with special powers so that daddysh wouldn't get lost on his way back! I have a little confession to make : we didn't got a Moroccan fountain, unfortunately we didn't find one so i thought maybe i could try to improvise something.I love this picture it so fabulous. Le bleu Majorelle is so contrasting . I did try to find one on the Internet but i am not sure that wall mounted fountains would suit our little garden.

But i am hoping we might get to do something about it. I found the picture on wikipedia , i just wanted to find out more info on the Majorelle garden of Marrakesh...............I wonder how many different Moorish style of fountain there is.How well i can only dream .............. maybe one day my dream will come true. Oh and did i mention we have got a little orange tree. Is the most beautiful little thing i ever seen , and we bought a mini lemon tree to celebrate our wedding anniversary and also to keep me busy.................... so i can look after it when my lover will be away in the far far away land.......................sigh.

Les beau macarons

I have notice lately , that the web is talking about this , oh my , they are delicious , but as i am now living in UK , i cannot go to the local Patisserie as i would if i was living in France but i have resources , not everyone does , so i have thought you all would like to make them...........be aware it's a long process but so worth it. Another thing i was browsing the other day to get some inspiration and i came across of Maison Blanc, you might don't know but Famous french Chef Raymond Blanc opened some very luxurious boulangerie/patisserie here in UK , and i just find out he opened one in Chichester (only 30 min drive from my home ) So i will be off to order mon Pain Surprise , fab Fraisier and sumptuous Macarons.................wonder with colour i am going to have ..................! Will keep you inform..........!

Pierre Herme got a book out as well and there is a recipe of macaron au chocolat.... the must! (put a little bit of Van houten truffle powders chocolate...................on the top before serving....hum.....) Or go to Pure gourmandise....

Another book came out not long ago : Au Pays Des Macarons..de Clemence Bouluque...........

Do you know the origin of the Macaron........................... it's from Boulay.................... ! and they are hard as rock! But the real origin of Macaron was from occidental time as they made with almond past ,the name originated from Italy....... Macaroni!

I had lovely news last week , after trying to track back some of my lost friend , i have decided to enter their name into Google search and click on image, and voila , i have find her again , it took a little while to compose my email , I wasn't so sure if it was her but bingo she reply.......... Oh joy , i am so existed about it. I have meet her 10 years ago and since then we have lost touch. When my lover and i got married, she send us a lovely card and watercolour of shellfish beautifully paint and so details to the perfection. She is very talented.i have send her some pictures of my Lunar James and she reply to me with some pictures of her lovely family. It's so wonderful , i hope we will be still in contact from now. I hate to loose touch. So this blog is dedicated to her and her lovely family.

I know i haven't done much on my blog , and i am really sorry . We have been so busy here still trying to catch up with all the thing but the list is very long. We had a sad time 4 weeks ago , my parents came earlier than expected and we all went to the funeral of Uncle Desmond . To cheer me up my lover came back with a book , he thought i might like it. Are you kidding , love it! So since last Friday i have been mesmerising and fantasising on the wonderful images of the Moorish style and remembering when we were visiting all those wonders of Andalusia. Lovely memories . So i am going to so some more embroidery with a Moorish twist!

Thank you for your concern and your care over my family , and calling us from far away. Thank you so much for coming at our wedding , it meant a lot to us. So sorry , just came back to the country at last and now you are gone. I hope where you are , you will be feeling at ease away from all this illness and suffering. So yesterday , they finally came and pick up all the boxes. My crafts was all packed up by me, i never realise i had 6 big boxes , very scary. I think i have to think what i will be doing with all this in the new house! I was fearing the total amount , but it only came up of 11.6 cubic meter ( a total of 96 boxes.We were very impress! I could have done some more shopping in the Moroccan shop! Never mind. Dear hubby told me yesterday , that he might have a feeling we could be back here sooner then we think! Oh I love the way he is cheered me up !

PS: I just find a great website . It 's Pattie Wack , and she is wonderful. She has got a blog and Lot's of video to be inspired. I do like to make my own boxes , those templates looks just fantastic to put your little presents......... very sweet , aren't they!

Feeling blue.............

Oh dear, it has been 2 days now i am feeling very grumpy , but now i am feeling blue. Why, well it's because i have to start making the boxes for us to pack and be ready on Tuesday .But i don't want to do it , I'd rather leave it all and go.I know you might say what' s the big deal, you should be happy about it. Well, ye, of course i am happy of moving back to UK but i don't know why i am still feeling a bit sad. The idea of moving has hit me when last night we were invited to our friends for Raclette, and i realise that's it , it's the last i will see them. For me it's hard to swallowed , i have meet a lot of people during travelling and work but finding good friends it's hard, in fact it's very hard. The other thing is Marching out, i hate it. Third time now , i am dreading it more than ever. The man who come and check the state of the house is very strict , i have been told it's worse than ever! Oh well, i think i just heard dear husband pass the door. We are going to the Moroccan shop to cheer me up. It's best for me not to think about it!

A little Nepal culture at the Rock.

Today was a special day in Gibraltar. The Gurkha's regiment were sharing a bit of their culture.Since we moved here , we were seeing them driving back and forward to the different camps. I remembered 4 years ago my lover going for a 100km run with them , he took him 24 hours to do it but the Gurkha's only a cool few hours! When my dear lover arrived at the camp , the Gurkha's were serving him some food!

Crowd gathered around Mackintosh Square to admire their agility of Dancing ,cooking ,playing the bagpipe and tae kwon do. Well i was particularly amaze because they were only 8 guys doing the show , and they did it all. I think my favourite was that we had to queue for 10 min to taste their delicious Momo (big ravioli stuff with meat and herbs marinated). Oh it was worse the wait, we were only aloud to have half of one as they were only cooking 10 at a time. This is what i called fooding with style ! Lunar James was very impressed when the man jump into the air and broke a terracotta pot ! All the confetties stuff inside blow into the air , and make the move spectacular. The dancing with the knife kukri was very interesting too. They were trying to raise some money for their own charity pahar trust , and i do hope they did well.

I am sincerely apologising , i seems to be running out of time. We have been back to UK 3 weeks ago to move the content . We felt very exhausted ( the tenant left us a very dirty house!)but it was good to see all of our stuff and specially ,it's was fantastic because it make us realise why did we kept those useless item ! We lost our bed , it seems it got mouldy in the storage box but lucky us we had a sofa bed.We have discovered as well that have tools in triplicate ! Honestly , i think coming in Gibraltar was a good idea and it make us realise what are the essential. 2 weeks ago i was helping one of my friend Debbie who own the Craft shop in the Irish town in Gib . She was having a demo day so we had to do lot's of card. I did a quilling workshop , really enjoying it! At the start of the day , it was mad , everyone came at the same time , we were a bit panicking as well because the computer wouldn't start working......................! But it all came back very smoothly. Debbie showed a new product call Flowers soft.

I wish i could show you some of the card we made but unfortunately i am running out of batteries ,so i cannot charge the camera! (The lead is in Uk !). Last Thursday i was invited to the new Crafter's Anonymous to do a demonstration on Mini-ORIGAMI , it was nice to see people amaze to what a little square of paper can do! Shame again i cannot show you the cards . I have to make a big thank you to Heather who help me to make the card , as i was having a bad Migraine , it was nice to have to help. Thanks Heather i owned a churros and coffee!

Honeymoon...........

Let me introduce you to Honeymoon , Honey , honey bonny! And here is her story.One day went to get some special food for Charlie who has just lost a tooth . So here we are driving to the Vet on a Saturday afternoon back from excursion in super Gibraltar high street! Andy dash out first to get to the Vet saying :"it will only take 2 Min's"! Of course patiently we waited , to despair and agitation of Lunar James , i decided we should go and check out what is going on! To my surprise , Andy seems to appear while i was unstrapping Lunar James of his car seat . And told us with joy " come inside , there is baby puppies , you have to come and see them , they are gorgeous"!.Well , yes they were so cute . The Gibralterian vet nurse told us " have a cuddle " "you 'll love it!" . Oh yes we did love it. And after looking in Andy eyes, i could read that he really wanted one. The problem was : Is Lunar James going to handle the little puppy properly . And he did , he did it very well , he was amazing actually , so gentle so soft so careful so happy , so happy. The vet nurse told us what happens to this litter of puppy: on Good Friday the litter was abandoned on the step of the Newhospital who just happen to open their door a few days ago. The litter was 3 weeks old . You are probably wondering why do we called them baby puppies , well the poor little soul still needed to be bottle fed , it mean you have to go up in the middle of the night as well to fed them! Andy took care of it all as he was really in love with her. We choose her as she was the less frightened of us and she keep sucking our finger.And from that day the little baby puppy stayed in our life, we call her honey as she was golden brown and white so beautiful. And we have decided when it's mother's day , it's honey birthday!

Honey love everybody, she love chasing Lulu and Charlie. She love leaking people toes!It's her favourite. She love to groom Andy ! She love to surrender James! She loves my french cooking ! She love going out in the car for a ride! She love Sausages! She love Biscuit too! Honey has 4 squeaky toys , she knows them all and hide them all too! Her favourite sport his Football, to Andy delight!

She love dressing up too! Here it's super dog day! And Santa little helper. Honestly i never seen a dog like her , she think she is Human/cat, but she doesn't think like a dog!

Tarifa

We didn't go to Sevilla in the end , we went to Tarifa in the Costa De la Luz instead , and it was lovely. It was very sunny and hot. Lunar James enjoy playing in the park , and we all had an ice cream! We love Tarifa, it's a surfer dude place to be but it's a chill out zone dude too! You can take the Ferry to Morocco as well . You can see the merge of the sea and the ocean. There is miles and miles of white sand beaches , and dunes. It still protected so you won't see Building site like the Costa Del Sol.There is an Arabic Castle to visit , very important part of the Andalusian history. The town is full of little street and you can see a fabulous entrance Moorish door . When you walk into the town you can notice you are surrounded of a very old city wall . The town is doing their best to restore it and it looks wonderful. I posted a few pictures of Tarifa but you can go to the website Andalucia . com to find out more.If you drive a little further along , and Turn to Bolonia , you will be amaze . There is an archaeological site. It's very well look after and they are still discovering more element on this Roman beautiful site. You can go for a coffee and have the vue of the Dune , white beach and the Roman ruin at the same time, it's to die for . My lover took me there for my birthday. It's so romantic................

Charlie boy

At the moment we are having all our thought for Charlie , he hasn't been feeling very well lately , i had to take him to the VET doctor (says Lunar James). The poor thing , he didn't like it very much , he was trying to hide under my jumper . Our VET was very gentle with him , but really didn't like the injection at all. Now after non stop cuddle, and lot's of loving miaow , we have seems to be a little happier .You see i am a bit concern as we are facing a long drive very soon (in 9 weeks) . And I don't really want them to be unwell before we go . You see Charlie is a rescue cat from the RSPCA of Stubbington (Hampshire). He was found on the road after being hit by a car, he had an injured leg . When we move to Sunny Fareham , we thought Mademoiselle Lunel would like a bit of company. (Oh boy she didn't like it one bit! ) So Andy (lover/husband) went to the RSPCA and find him . The poor little thing when i saw him , he was on the floor in the cage . The first time i stroke him, he bite me. I said to Andy " I don't want him , he is nasty and lulu is not gonna like that at all.!" Andy told me that he has already filled in the paper work and he was part of our family. I was very worried than.But secretly Andy went back to the rescue center and talk to them about the incident. So they decided to move him to an upper cage so he would be less frighten. Well when we went back , he was much nicer in fact , this made me realise , i was a fool of not understanding the feeling cat on the floor situation. To my surprise he was adorable and wanted to be held, and cuddle. So than i was crying , feeling awful about what happen. I didn't like to leave him there but we had to wait after the paper work was cleared. The next day we went back to visit him , and he recognise us , i put him a black collar with sparkle . He look like a prince. A week later Andy brought him at home . He was so frighten that he hide inside the kitchen cupboard. Andy had to go to a meeting and left me a note, when i came back from work, i find a note telling me:
"The cat is hiding in the kitchen cupboard , lulu in under our duvet in bed . His name is Alf."!
So i went to the kitchen cupboard to pick him up . I gave him a tour of the downstairs of the house. Lulu heard my voice and came to look , of course she wasn't happy at all but still wanted her usual afternoon stroke . Then we stayed in the lounge and waited for Andy . Than we talk about the name. I didn't like the name Alf at all. So we agreed on Charlie, Charles, Charlie boy.
Did i mention Charlie is black and white. Ah at last a black in the house.

Well with fear , i have let the man enter in our home today thinking quietly ( i am way over the limit ,tell me the damage ????????????????)as we only aloud of 12.12cubic meter. But with a nice cup of Brazilian coffee and sweet talking , a visit in the house and intrusion of opening cupboard and draws , with delight i can announce we are only 2 cubic meter over . Now i am feeling lighter with less anxiety , i am hopping to do some packing my self to save some time , and maybe some crafty space! So this afternoon i will be receiving boxes and wrapping material for me to get me started for the big move and i will try my best to compact as much as i can!.

THE ART OF KIRIGAMI

Last week i order a book about Kirigami , i was so thrill to receive it so soon . As you know i love anything to do with paper . I am sure you have seen the usual little people holding hand decoupage, but it's much more than that : It 's a very ancient art from the Japan . Kirigami mean cut paper , it's very symmetrical technique as you fold it and cut it after. The idea use and the explanation of the technique was very good but it was lacking on template, so i started to research them with Google.( Lovely search engine i must say). One day i receive a parcel from France from my tatie but it was for Lunar James . All thought to our surprise , something else very small was included in the parcel : it was a square ring . OH WOW , what a lovely surprise , the ring was square,big and blue , very beautiful. I rang my tatie to say thank you and how delighted about my present too.She told me that in France at the time a new trend started , making your own swarovsky Crystal jewelery. I told her i would love to do that! Time pass and we move on the rock , Christmas arrived in no time and my tatie always generous send me a kit and a book on how to make the square ring and bracelet! Oh fantastic , it was such a surprise , so here i am doing my first kit , it took me 10 Min's . The bracelet was finish and i look at my mum and said i need more beads . Mum reply "MORE"! Oh yes , just by doing this i was addicted to swarovsky beads .I LOVE IT. After lots of research , i have finally find a supplier and made rings since, and i have been selling them in my friend craft shop and custom made them as well. But i still need more and i really can't wait to go to a proper bead shop so i can indulge my self in the spark of those swarovsky beads...........................;)

Let me introduce to mademoiselle Lunel. I had her since she was 6 months old. One day in the month of February of 2000 , i was asking around to adopt a cat but with no luck from the RSPCA , i wasn't aloud because of the busy road i was leaving next to. I was feeling very low as i was unemployed at the time . My fiance/lover was working down South , so i was feeling very lonely. And then my neighbour told me he knew some one who had a kitten. I did specifically ask for a black cat . I was told that i will be getting a kitten and it happen to be on a day when i had an interview for a job. Well , there i was looking for cat litter ,tray , scoop , kitten food , kitten milk. And oh my , what a surprise , the kitten was already inside the flat. The poor thing look at me when i was going the stairs , the kitten very scared wondered who i was but realise i was bringing something he was familiar with : the litter tray and the kitkat kitten pouch .After talk , and bride, she bravely came to me slowly and jump onto my knees . I discovered that she was a girl to my surprise and she was a three coloured . I couldn't be happier , i had a little company in my house , and did definitely in light my day to day routine. I played a lot with her with her little fishy . It was 7 years ago . As you can see ,she is very petite but she has a penchant for blond lady and man with big hand and deep voice.She is following me everywhere, she has move 4 times , i am hoping she will forgive me to move her again , but i know that my fiance and me are all she got . Because sometimes she goes away but always comeback to me . She is my little daemon , my shadow , my dearest parasite!

My collection of hearts

I have finally manage to finish my little collection of heart embroidery , what fun it has been for me to realise the heart embroidered. I love doing canvas but i really enjoy doing it on the card. I wasn't to kind on the pricking pack , you have to be very quick when you are pricking and i must admit i have prick my finger too in more than one occasion! I will be selling them at my husband work , i am hoping his colleague will like it. What great about those cards is you can keep them as a memento forever. I have been very care full to use acid free paper , glue and thread. The thread that i use is Madeira metallic, i use also the holographic thread (wonderful reflection of the light), and also twisted thread (the pink one).

It' finally snowing in the Alpes

After a long journey, delays at the airport , we have finally arrived ! But what a surprise, Fresh snow . It' s beautiful, such a nice feeling when you are walking on it, everything is so quiet,the air so fresh...................Oh i just love it. Lunar James is over the moon , making print with his boots...............Today our grand plan it's to have a ball fight, make a snow man and drag James on the sleigh ............... It's a real bliss.

My Favourite shop

The past week , i have been secretly hiding away to look in the new catalogue of Panduro . Since i have find out that their is a shop in my mum's town , I have been dreaming about it. It's say on their french website, that i will be losing myself in a 250 square meter of crafts and idea. I can't wait . I can see myself inside walking down the alleys like if i was visiting a church . I am so looking forward to visit my parents now ,( i have an extra motivation apart from the Swiss chocolate!). Only a few days to wait! I already made a list of what i would love to have . My favourite is the Tilda design ,it's very cute . Easter is just around the corner, i will be able to get what i have desire since i move in Gibraltar. Oh i think Lunar James will have a lovely decorated easter House.!

Decluttering!

I have to make an apology about my absence on my blog , i am as we speak the clutter Fairy of the house. January is spring cleaning . As you know i will be moving , i have to be very meticulous about how i am going to pack my crafts and all the bits to go with it! We have an cubic allowance of 12 cubic meter and i don't know about you ,it's not very much when you have been leaving here for 2 years 1/2, collecting Moroccans and Africans objects ,lamps , rugs , wall lamps , mirrors.(Lot's of them!) , i am still waiting for my Moroccan fountain, and some terracotta wall lamp from Portugal.

I have started my making cards hobby and now i have got lots more, and i mustn't forgot all my beads. My lover has an hobby too, painting little soldier , but as little as they can be , he too got Lot's more to pack! I have venture into my Lunar James bedroom ,and entered in the world of the toys. As his age the toys are so voluminous. And i started to gather the unused one , but Lunar James realise of my secret intention,with no further a do he started to put them back as he told us that he do not want to donate them at all. It 's very much his ! It does break my heart but it has to be done. Guilt is a very small word for the power it has on you.

Of course. I am still doing some cards . At the moment i am thinking of doing Valentines cards. It's a bit tricky as i haven't got much stuff for it. So i have to work harder on this one! Or maybe buy more...............!

La galette des rois

It's the end of the day and I wish i have made one now. Why i am regretting it ,it's because i haven't been back in French Home since a year ago and i do sorely miss it . The first time i made it was for Lunar James first Epiphany(6 of Jan) , I will never forget his face when he find a toy in his slice . I couldn't put a Feve as he was to small a the time. The following year i put a big dice (let from Andy war games kit ) . Oh it was funny for me because putting a dice was very odd! Usually old people complaint how they can break their teeth . The Feve use to be made of Porcelain but now they are in plastic . They are not as nice . My great great grand-mother use to collect them. If you have the Feve than you are a king or a queen for the day. When i was little i felt very important!
This is one nice tradition i really love . Now we have to wait for Pancake day!

Last night we took Lunar James to town. It was a very important night , it was the 50TH of the calvacade . They had 21 trailers , it was very nice and the first prize really amaze lunar James because it was a Pirate ship ! ARGH HARDIES! But the best part is : they give you sweets(actually they throw them ), hummmmmmmmm very nice. Lunar James was handing his hand like no Merci , he was puzzle at first but understood rapidly the aim of the evening try to catch sweet as much as you can! My lover and i got even knock off with the sweets. It remind us of our wedding when mum was handing out some little pouches of rice, nice touch to throw them at us ,but believe us it hurts bad.................

So here we are 3rd time around and got a little browse on my cheek . I will do anything for my son . Well just to get the sweets! Anyway Lunar James collected with the help of Daddy , Danny and Jack a cool amount of 15!

Today he was looking at his precious sweets comic stones with love and of course making sure to count them over and over again! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa bless!

I thought i just mention that the town i was born and bread in Vichy.

Vichy is located in middle of France , there is a very nice countryside , there is la riviere L'allier.

And also Les sources d'eau.

The most popular is Vichy-celestins . I do like this water it's very fizzy and help you to digest , must nicer than Perrier Really . But he, i have to support my origin . I found a lovely pictures of the sources and the advertising Affiches,we love so much . Last Xmas mon amour offered me a lovely handcrafted book and lots of lovely postcards from Vichy , very thoughtful of him , as he know i wanted to make a souvenir Journal of the town we were coming from . I do fear that the next generation will forgot their roots , so i am making sure that Lunar James will be happy to show his origin to his children.

Today, i have been absolutely amaze while watching Dawn Bibby DVD (kindly let from my friend Debbie) Debbie you are star and Thank you for letting it. Well , i have learn so much , but i have specially enjoy those ink alcohol base
, they are fantastic and you can do so much with it. They work specially well on aluminum sheet and after embossing your motif , you can dab the ink with the use of felt , and watch the change of colour on the sheet , it's fabulous , You can do an antique effect as well and a guilding effect and verdegris too. How well , now i will admit it she is the Queen of Craft. She has a shop call Topaz:

Xmas trees......

My favourite time of the year is when i start decorating the house with all the Xmas tresor i have found during my travels and countries i have live in but unfortunately i had to leave all my tressors behind me , there are in a storage place somewhere in south of Britain! You see i have spend my childhood in Switzerland and out there , Xmas decoration is a serious business . So lucky me, i had to hunt for a whole new set, and it was hard labour ! I love doing the tree , specially the one of my mum is all made of natural subject animals(hedgehog,howl and squirrels) inside and sparkling birds. So i just wanted to show ours because my friends think it looks like a show home tree! I am so curious i would love if you could describe yours to me...........

Handmade xmas card part 2

Both card are made with quikutz double dies.
The first card is from Alison , she is very good , very hand one with craft , we called her the master of craft! She taught us a lot about card and all the different technique . But what a wonderful idea , she is still leaving in Gib so this is why there is palm trees!
Rachel is very simple with her design and it's look so stylish , the tree has been raise with different thickness of 3D foam. SO clever .

They are only made with sticker( Anita's ) The top one is from Karen , she is starting to make some and she is hook now.! I like the display very minimalistic , very in.
The second on is from Linda , she has place them like mosaic on a silver card , what a wonder idea.
And to finish , those one are favourite:

This one is from my husband (my lover!) , he use a medallion peel off , shape of a star with a poinsettia in the middle. It's such a nice to send me some flowers. Very touchy.

The second one is made by Master Lunar James , a lot of thinking and precision, it was intensive labour .But the final product was worth it. The sticking technique has work well with the holographic stickers (Anita's) . I love it.
A big thank you to all my friends for those gorgeous piece of art and thank you to my family for working so hard to please me.
All those cards are all handmade with love and joy.
And they are all mine to keep forever!

HANDMADE XMAS CARD

I have been very spoil this year all my friend has gave us a handmade Xmas card, What a bliss , I love each one of them specially the one from my husband and lunar James, i thought i should share them with you.
This one is form Sylvia ,she made for little James , it's a shaker card!

This one is from Sylvia for us and it's a teabag folding Xmas tree. Very cute.

This one is from me to my husband, I have use Karen Clip laser cut little Nordic Heart.

Last year i have decided to embossed James hand print and i have place 3D foam at the back , it's give a nice effect and also , it's all made with acid and linin paper and powder , So i can 't keep it forever , I have made Lot's last year.

This is the Xmas card that i have made for my friend. I do admitit , it isn't my idea , i saw it on one of M&S Xmas cards.And i thought what a beautiful card. I dreamed of it, i just told myself: you have got to do it. So i went and see the queen of craft Debbie and i ask her if i could borrowed her quickutz large snowflake and we no further do , i started the job! I owned 2 snowflake punch, one is a xcut and the other one is a woodland mini cassette gun punch. It took me about 5 min to punch and there another 10 min to created and stick to keep all in place , i have use a small round brads to hold the large snowflake , but after i place some glitter in the center of all the snowflakes and i had a little bow. Ahhhhh isn't it a great idea. The funny thing ,is i was waiting for my Xmas paper to arrive and i won't needed now as i only use the 3 Punch's!

After reading Myriam blog :My Marrakesh , I thought a little picture of Morocco might help you to cheer up a little bit. This is the view from my window , on the left side of the mountain is LA CEUTA . At night time in September you can see all the lights of the small Moroccan villages . It's a little gleams of what i can see from where i live . The picture was taken by my lover. As you can see it can be a bit difficult to get a good detail view but we are working on it!

Ah at last , now i know what i am doing ! Well my life as been a bit busy lately 'cause it's Xmas parties non stop (for Andy). Now i have time to myself. I have made some lovely Xmas card with 3 different punch snowflakes very effective will post the pictures tomorrow as i have gave them already , so i must do a fresh one for the post . I have been helping out one of my friend Debbie (owner of Decorative art ) it was bliss , we were at the governor pad! Selling craft and one stroke painting glass wear , They were real nice. I even manage to sell a vase to the commodore , i was well with it really! I have push Debbie for an interview with Gib TV , very important on the rock . I haven't seen it yet . Next day i pop into her shop and she told me we were on the paper as well, i felt a bit embarrassed ,but now we are famous!To thanks us she took us to Bianca's . Well thank you Debbie. I really enjoy my evening , the meal , the drink on Roy (ta), the atmosphere ,the freshness of the place , it was really nice to be able to go out . I had a fab time.So here some little flowers for my friend Debbie.
Don't you love Quilling , it's fantastic so fragile and wonderful to the eyes . I love it!

I just discover Blog a month ago and i must say it's fantastic . I never knew such thing could happen on the internet , i just love it , reading about other people life and discovering their country and passion it's fascinating. I am calling my blog Au poussin Bleu because my grand mother and my mum use to take me a lot to Tea Room and it's use to be one called "Au poussin bleu " ( mean "at the bleu chick! ", my childhood souvenir , and now i love to have my own coffe shop or Tea room....................

A view of Gibraltar

I live in Gibraltar, yes it's a country not a county or a district as my husband and i got ask at Barclays Bank !. Anyway as i say wonderful Gibraltar, lovely town lovely people lovely coffe shop (Saccarello my fav, Caffe Modena in La Linea) ,and it's very weird it's half way british and spanish? A very interesting combination, there is a mixture of religion too. And of course a big presence of Bristish armed forces ,Army, Navy, RAF and the Gibraltar Squadron who are doing a fantastic job. In my circle i am friend with an italian crafty lady , 4 english crafty ladies, of course a french friend( my heardresser as well) ,and i 2 scotish ladies too, a morrocan lady( my coffee lady) and so much more.............! Everybody leave with harmony , and like each other. A very tolerant country. If only the queue of the border could vanish , i feel i am spending half of my time queuing!

When i was young my parent took me to Fabriano in Italy where my childhood friend leave and in this town they make handmade paper , parchement.... it's so fascinating.................this is why i love it so much............................................... so i will be talking a lot about paper. card craft and all the stuff i adore.
